What does VoIP mean?
VoIP means “Voice Over Internet Protocol” and it is a technology that lets you place phone calls without having a physical phone line, but simply through a network connection. They are converted into digital signals of voice data that are then reconverted into analog data in order to restore a voice quality comparable to that of a traditional analog line.

VoIP reduces the waiting time for telephone line activation and reduces calling costs with further advantages like not having license fees, advance payments for talk time and the need for maintenance. Plus, with VoIP by Watsy, you can call landlines, both domestic and international, at affordable rates and call all other Watsy users for free.

After how long can I use the voice time bonus?
In the app, it is accredited after having entered the verification code sent by an SMS to the listed mobile phone number. It is already activated on the Phone once the device is received.

How many devices can I link to my account?
Each account can link itself to: one app and an unlimited amount of Phones with which you can share with your telephone account. Each device will have its own 555-###-### ID number that lets you talk with all other users for free.

Can I top up another user’s account?
In your Personal Account online, selecting the “Top Up” link, it is possible to top up other Watsy users’ telephone accounts simply by entering the 555-###-### ID number account of the user who will receive the credit, then select the payment method of your choice.

I no longer want to receive your newsletter, what do I do?
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter, which provides information regarding news and promotions, by accessing the “Account” link from your online Personal Account, by simply unchecking the “I want to receive information about the WatsON world.”

How do I activate the app?
Watsy can be downloaded through the App Store and Google Play and, following registration, a verification code that is sent via SMS must be entered in the app in order to verify the telephone number.

What kind of connection must my smartphone have for the app to work properly?
The app can be used both on a 3G network and Wi-Fi with good network coverage.

What is included in the app purchase?
The app offers competitive rates for calls to landlines and mobile phones both domestic and international, the possibility to call all other Watsy users for free and the advantage of a free top up from one’s phone account with a voice time bonus of € 0.10 per every promotional SMS and e-mail received.

During the registration stage, the app does not include the VoIP Geographic Telephone Number to receive calls. That can be purchased separately in the Shop area.

How can I delete my account?
It is possible to deactivate your account by sending an email to infomail@mywatsy.com.

How can I update my information?
You can update your information through your online Personal Account, accessing it with the same username and password as the app.

In case I lose my access information, how can I recuperate it?
In case you lose your access Password, all you need to do is enter the “Access” link and click on “Lost Password” after having entered your Username (your e-mail address used during registration). You will be sent an e-mail with a new password.

What are the payment methods for purchasing the app?
It is possible to purchase the app using major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and American Express) and PayPal.
Online, the payment methods also include a bank wire transfer.

Payment with credit card
The transaction is processed through Banca Sella’s virtual POS and WatsON L.L.C. saves the credit card information only upon request of the Client, who can select to memorize the data in order to expedite subsequent purchases. The User can delete the card information at any moment. Payment is in a secure and encrypted mode, in compliance with the security procedures guaranteed by the circuit, and allows the purchase to be completed in real time.

Payment by PayPal
In case of purchase through the mode of payment PayPal. The customer will be directed to the PayPal login page. The amount of the order is debited from the customer's PayPal account at the time of order. At no time during the purchase process Watson Srl is able to know the financial information of the customer. As there is no transmission data, there is the possibility that they are intercepted. No archive of Watson srl. contains or maintains such data. For each transaction made with the PayPal account the customer will receive a confirmation email from PayPal.

Payment by bank transfer
If you are not in possession of a credit card, you can recharge your account by bank transfer or purchase services. Once you have selected your payment method you will find all the information necessary to complete the transaction. The timescales for crediting of recharge is about 4/5 days (depending on the bank) or by fax 24 hours ahead of the payment slip to our Sales Department.

Invoices can be looked up and downloaded in your online Personal Account, through the “Account Details” link and are sent by e-mail after each purchase.

Complete calling activity can be viewed in your online Personal Account, in the “Account Details” link.

For the app to function properly, it is necessary to have good network coverage and make sure you have voice calling credit in your account.

The 555-###-### number is unique to each user (Phone and app) and allows you to call all other Watsy users for free. Otherwise, you can call the contact on their corresponding mobile phone using the affordable VoIP rates.

What do you need to use the Watsy Phone?
You don’t need to download any software to use a Watsy Phone, just simply connect it to the Internet and by plugging the device into a power source and a network cable in the WAN port, the telephone is ready. The Watsy Phone is delivered already configured with your VoIP line.

The Internet connection, essential for the Watsy Phone to work, is a simple ADSL line.

The VoIP Geographic Telephone Number is a normal landline number, with the area code of the user’s location of residence, that offers the freedom to do more and at more affordable costs compared to a traditional landline number. It gives you availability anywhere, even while abroad, receiving calls directly on your landline number while on the move, both on the Watsy Phone and the Watsy app.

The Watsy rates include VAT and are counted by the second, without connection fees.

Watsy provides variable pricing only with respect to the destination country that will be called. The country in which the call is placed does not change the cost of the phone call.

Does Watsy share my contacts?
Watsy manages your contacts only to group them into a special contacts list and simplify your search for other Watsy users that you can call for free.

Does Watsy share my information with others?
Personal information will be used only following authorization of the treatment of personal information on the part of the person who downloaded the Watsy app or purchased the Watsy Phone and decides to receive promotional information from WatsON L.L.C and partner companies in exchange for free voice time bonuses (example: Autoricarica ON).
